IRIDESCENT \ˌir-ə-ˈde-sənt\ (adjective)

– having or exhibiting iridescence
– Iridescence: a lustrous rainbow-like play of color caused by differential refraction of light waves (as from an oil slick, soap bubble, or fish scales) that tends to change as the angle of view changes; a lustrous or attractive quality or effect

Quoted in a book:
“Some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin, some in gloss; but every once in a while, you find someone who’s iridescent, and once you do, nothing will ever compare.” – Wendelin Van Draanen (Flipped)
