Ninoy: Ideas & Ideologies 1932-1983
This week we take pride of the man famous for the line,
“The Filipinos are worth dying for.”
Benigno S. Aquino, Jr.’s death has long been observed as a holiday in the Philippines enacted under Republic Act 9256. This was twenty-one years after his assassination on August 21, 1983.
To have a glimpse of his ideas and ideologies, a coffee table book of the rare photographs of the late Senator Benigno S. Aquino Jr. was published by his foundation in 1993. The book is entitled:
NINOY: ideals and ideologies, 1932-1983
This book is available at the HS LRC Filipiniana section, F 92 Aq5n 1993.
